New York based quintet Seeing Double, bursts into the rock scene with their debut single “Leah”, a groovy tune that will leave you wanting to press replay. The band consists of Allie Sandt (bass and vocals), Ali McQueeney (vocals), Dylan Travison (drums), Zach Torncello (guitar), and Michael Aaron (guitar). The song has definite 70’s rock energy paired with a Fleetwood Mac edge, and topped off with that recognizable indie sound.

The harmonies add an entrancing flare to accompany the beautifully written lyrics that pull you into their world, including lines like “the moon's a marble in her hand / I watch the tides roll from the sand / oh come and take me from this shore / so I can sing you evermore.” The chorus has a strong and catchy melody, one that is guaranteed to get stuck in your head and your ears. It’s no secret when listening to the track, and the rest of Seeing Double’s discography, the band is influenced by 70’s groups that paved the way. From Steely Dan, to The Beatles, to Fleetwood Mac influence, “Leah” is a breathe of fresh air for any 70’s rock enthusiast. With the release of “Leah” the band proves rock is alive and well.

The anticipation to see just how far this band-on-the-rise will go is prominent with each new song. As they continue to carry on the sounds of their 70’s influences while paving their own path, there’s no doubt, Stevie Nicks would definitely approve.
